what information is collected?
during your visit, we will collect your personal information. you may also be asked to provide your information by scanning the wagamama test and trace qr code. the information collected will be:
the first and last names of the member of the party that is making the payment a contact telephone number a contact email address please note that our system will automatically capture the date and time of the visit

wagamama is responsible for compliance with data protection legislation for the period of time it holds the information. when that information is requested by the nhs test and trace service, the nhs would at that point become responsible for compliance with data protection legislation
nhs test and trace require us to retain this information for 21 days from the date of your visit, to enable contact tracing to be carried out correctly
how your information is used
we will only share information with nhs test and trace if it is specifically requested by them
for example, if another guest at the venue reported symptoms and subsequently tested positive, nhs test and trace can request the log of guest details for a particular time period and within a set proximity (for example, this may be all guests who visited on a particular day or during a particular time-band)
if the information is collected only for the purpose of contact tracing (for example, when you use the specific wagamama test and trace qr code it will not be used for other purposes, and nhs test and trace will not disclose this information to any third party unless required to do so by law (for example, as a result of receiving a court order). in addition, where the information is only collected for the purpose of contact tracing, it will be destroyed by wagamama 21 days after the date of your visit
if the information we collect is part of the information that we would usually collect, store and use in our ordinary dealings with you (such as the information we collect when you use our wifi or the pay on phone facility), this information will continue to be held after 21 days and we will use it as we usually would, unless and until you tell us not to
